Just when I Thought the Internet was Great………….

ImageIf you read my articles, you know I don’t take sides in much of anything, I merely write content about the aspects of business, marketing, entrepreneurship etc.  I do, however, use the internet as a research vehicle for my writing, as well as some of the entertainment I absorb.

Today’s post is not one of those types of articles.

I just had the opportunity to view for the first time a TED video that was originally aired in late 2011.  Mr. Eli Pariser speaks about “Beware Online Filter Bubbles”  It is astounding to me, a serious person with serious thoughts, that the Internet Police are alive and well.

Remember when the World Wide Web became available to us? No, Al Gore Did Not invent it.  There were little if any filter systems on it, and information of any variety could be searched out and consumed.  Well, as the internet grew in sophistication, so did the filters.

Watch this video (if you really want to know what is really happening) to see if the information within resonates with your line of thinking.  I assure you, unless you work for Google or Facebook, you will be surprised……TED TALK Beware Online Filter Bubbles
